Hand Painted Wood Jewellery Moth Set
Similar to butterflies, moths are commonly seen as a symbol of transformation, endings and new beginnings. Even though often associated with death, as creatures that are so drawn to light, I can't help but think that wherever they may guide us, it's a good place.
These sets are made from laser cut scrap plywood and hand painted with acrylics. To protect their vibrancy, they have been coated with a gloss varnish. A variety of glass beads and crystal briolettes complement their colours. The chain closes with a lobster clasp.
The earwires are made from stailness steel.
And because the backs deserve just as much attention, I have painted them with leaves.
